HOW TO CONTROL YOUR BLOG’S COMMENT

Do you want people to interact with you after reading your posts so you will be able to know at what standard they see your post, you want to create an online interactive environment between you and your blog visitors so they will be able to check on your blog due to the relationship you have been able to create with them through comments.

In this tutorial, I will walk you through a step-by-step process of managing all comments on your blog. You should take note of all the words written in bold format.

Before going through the process, I will, first of all, give a short description of the term comment to make sure we get a vivid understanding of what we are about to work upon.

WHAT IS A COMMENT:

In blogging, a comment can simply be said to be a writeup made to give an opinion or make an explanation on any updates of a blog. Comments can be made by anyone who has accessed your blog or can be made by a set of people you have chosen. Further details about who to comment on your blog are stated in the step processes.

HOW TO ORGANIZE YOUR BLOG COMMENTS:

STEP 1

Login to your blogger dashboard, click on the drop-down menu icon beside your blog's name and choose the blog you want to organize its comment section.



STEP 2.

Click on Settings which is located under the Theme option of your blogger dashboard.



STEP 3.

Scroll down carefully until you see the Comment icon and click on it.




At this point, there are options for you to make a choice on, I will be explaining the functions of these options to make sure even a newbie is not left out on this post.

Comment location: Select Embedded in other for your blog visitors to be able to comment on your blog posts.


Click on the Who to comment option under the comment location. Three self-explanatory options will pop up so you can make a choice on who to comment on your blog.


Who to comment options explanation:

Anyone(including anonymous):

This option is to allow everyone who visits your blog to be able to drop a comment on your blog, even those you have no idea of who they are.



Users With Google Accounts:

Selecting this option is allowing only visitors who have a Google Account to comment on your blog.



Only members of this blog:

Activating this option is to allow only those who are members of the blog(blog admins/editors) to comment on the blog.
